Dear Yallingup Steiner Community, As families are slowly returning from prolonged winter holidays classes are able to start back in ernest and as usual there has been some exciting learning happening around the School.   Dear Yallingup Steiner Community,Our final newsletter for Term 2 is attached for your reading pleasure.  Hopefully, it has not repeated itself this week and become 84 pages long like last week's did.We have a bit of a wrap up of the Dance Party which was apparently a fabulous night and some more winter festival celebrations, this time from the Margaret River and Carbunup playgroups.Also repeated (for the last time this year) is the information about our tax deductible donation accounts.  You may like to share this with grandparents and others who could possibly assist the School and get a deduction themselves.  The new Bursary fund has been well used this year and with plans for the new classroom for 2017 well underway additional funds for this project would be very well received. Dear Steiner Community, Our newsletter this week is a compilation happenings of the last week including a comprehensive report on the Stews, Tunes and Transitions, thank you so much to School Chair, Garry Dagg for being the prime motivator of this pleasant and informative afternoon, and a forerunner of things to come, like the School Tour this Thursday. Please encourage anyone you may know who could be interested in enroling their children to register for the tour on Thursday. We are still looking for helpers for the morning tea. Rudolf Steiner Early Childhood Education Regional Meeting 2016 was held this year in Perth at the Perth Waldorf School. It is nice to know that the PWS always welcomes us to use their rooms and often the staff of Early Childhood helps to run the occasion smoothly. This year we had the pleasure to be able to join the Sophia College Early Childhood training for a talk with Dr. Lakshmi. She has worked a lot with our most fragile fetuses born before their time. So we learned all about what happens right from day one of conception with the very much loved input of Anthroposophy. After the talk we sat down and tried our creative forces on some clay to show the placenta and the fetus at is at its very beginning.
