Dear YSS Community, The big event for this week is the Curry Night.  Please read all the information concerning it carefully and do spread the word amongst your friends and family.  I hope it is a fantastic night and a big success.  Thank you so much to Kate McGeachie for all her organizing. Please also note the open day coming up on the 19th which is also a Saturday.  The pupil free day on the 18th is to enable staff to prepare and so the children get their rest time. Have a read of the newsletter... there is still lots more... Enjoy.   Warm wishes,   Kerrie Naughton Registrar

YSS Newsletter 2015 Term 3 Week 7 01.09.15

Tuesday, 01 September 2015 13:00
Dear Yallingup Steiner School Community, Our first newsletter of Spring is abundant with colour and creativity. Please read about; the Curry Night, Open Day, Book week and much, much more. I was also wondering if there might be someone out there who would like to take over keeping our chalk board outside the school up-to-date.  It is a fun way to earn a few PPS hours.  It involves having a read of the newsletter to see what is coming up and then getting 'arty' with the chalk. It would be good to have the Curry night up there now for people driving past to see as well. Give me a call if you would like to do this. Have a wonder filled first week of Spring. Warm wishes,   Kerrie Naughton Registrar

Tuesday, 11 August 2015 13:00
Dear Yallingup Steiner Community, Our newsletter for this week is attached. As usual it has a plethora of photos and information about your children and the school. I have noticed recently that there has been a drop off in the number of people actually opening the newsletter with actually only 29.6% being opened.  I have to say this is pretty disheartening as the newsletter is a lot of work and we do endeavour to let you know what is happening with your children. If this message gets to you and you no longer have children at the Yallingup Steiner School and do not wish to receive the newsletter please feel free to hit the unsubscribe button.  It is easy to do. The upside is that the feedback from those who do take the trouble to have a read is really positive and a number of families go through the newsletter with…

It was a truly lovely winter solstice celebration. The weather was stormy and very wet all day, but as always the downpour stopped for a couple of hours, enough time for us to enjoy the celebration with out us all getting drenched. Thank you to Mich and her children  who represented the Wardandi peoples and shared their story of custodianship of this local country.
