Every Friday. weather providing, the children in Class 1, 2 and 6  bush walk together. Yallingup Steiner Schools bush walking program is incredibly rich and varied.  For six years Class teachers have been leading children up and down the Cape to Cape Track and can attest to its tremendous value.   Giving children the opportunity to experience nature in this way speaks directly to our curriculum and our philosophy about education.

Autumn Equinox

Wednesday, 25 March 2015 15:57
In preparation for the Autumn Equinox, the primary students busied themselves in order to create a seasonal installation in the playground. Collection and pattern- making took the chill out of the changing season and a representation of the constellation of Pisces, surrounded by the planets took shape over three days.  Materials were sourced from around the school. On Friday, the children gathered together (in a beautiful silence) and joined the stars together with their outstretched bodies to celebrate the day. It was wonderful to witness so much co-operation and busyness, imagination and will power. The Michaelic impulse runs strong in our school.
