Dear Yallingup Steiner Community, Our newsletter this week is a treasure trove of information and beauty.  Please read carefully about the Winter Solstice Celebration this week.  Also feel free to admire our parent group at their spectacular best at the Dance Party and also in the many thank yous throughout the newsletter. We also have a pictorial feature on our playgroups.  Three such welcoming campuses and amazingly giving and talented playgroup leaders... who wouldnt send their child to playgroup at YSS. I hope to see many of you at the Winter Solstice Festival this Friday or in the Kindergartens on Thursday.  Please remember it is a pupil free day on Friday with compulsorary evening attendance for primary students.  Everyone welcome but please share the running order especially the starting time as it would be unfortunate to upset the…

Dear Parents, Please open and read our Newsletter this week.  It really is worth it. There are lovely photos of your children and their work and the latest news from around the School. Also coming up this week is the talk for all Early Childhood parents tomorrow night in the hall at 7pm and the School Tour at 9.15am on Thursday. Dear Parents and readers, In new news this week there will be a presentation for all parents of early childhood children on Wednesday the 27th in the evening.  Details in the newsletter.  It is a good opportunity to learn more about your child's education if you are able to avail yourself of the opportunity. There are also some lovely photos of the Food Revolution Day and what is happening around the School at the moment.  Don't forget to check the Yallingup Steiner School Alumni Facebook page for even more photos.  It is also great if you can 'share' some of the the posts to further publicize our upcoming events such as the School Tour and also the Dance Party. Dear Yallingup Steiner Newsletter Readers,   Our newsletter today has information on the upcoming events; Food Revolution Day, School Tour, P&F Meeting, Parent Painting, Donnelly River Camp and the Dance Party.  Lots of ways and options to get involved and enjoy the benefits of this lovely School community. Dear Parents, In this week's newsletter we have some new information on a P&F initiative 'Food Revolution Day'  or should I say P&F and Jamie Oliver initiative. There are also lots of beautiful, colourful photos showing a lot of learning and not surprisingly a lot of smiles. On the subject of beautiful smiles you may like to have a look at the 'Busselton Dunsborough Times' for Friday, May 1 which features YSS's own Julie Vivian-Williams on Page 2.  Thank you to Lizzie Pepper (Maddy's mum from K4) for organizing this feature. Please also have a read of another busy Mum's efforts and consider supporting the fundraiser to support the Moonlight Community Heath Center in Nepal. Dear Yallingup Steiner Community, In our newsletter this week we have a number of reports; Dan Freeman, P&F and Konrad's report on 'Investigating Development and trens o Steiner/Waldorf Education in thTwenty First Century". We are also encouraging parents to enrol their little ones who are eligible for kindy next year now.  It is really good to have a clear idea of numbers early on so this can be factored in to our planning. YSS Newsletter Term 2 Week 1 21.04.15

Dear Yallingup Steiner Community, Welcome back to term 2.  As always we are starting with a 'bang'.  There are some beautiful photos of events past; the Feet Washing, Sally's Farewell and the Salmon Feast and a report on the AGM. There is also information on some exciting upcoming events; the talk with Dan Freeman 'Movement and the Incarnating Child', the P&F meeting tomorrow and an exciting opportunity to gain a greater insight into your child's education by participating in a series of painting workshops with Konrad.  We even have our first book review by a parent of a book from the Parent Library - what a great idea. Please also consider filling in the survey in the newsletter to provide your feedback on the 2014 School year. I look forward to catching up with many of you over the course of the Term. I hope the first week feels full…
Dear Yallingup Steiner Community, Our final newsletter for this term is another information packed visual feast. Please have a careful read and enjoy it. Included inside are some farewells, the AGM agenda, Michaelmas photos courtesy of Kate McGeachie, Foot Washing ceremony details,  Salmon Feast info, photos from around the School and much, much more. There is also a survey particularly relating to the School in 2014.  Your feedback would be appreciated. In a late addition, on Easter Sunday at the Wardan Centre their is a family Easter celebration, with kid's activities, tool making, bush food sharing  and sunset coroboree.  Everyone is welcome. I wish all of you a very special, family Easter and hope you can find a way to celebrate without the commercial chocolate overload.
