Sibling Tuition Fee Discounts

Discounts come into effect from K6, only applicable if there are no other outstanding fees.
1st Child- Full fee
2nd Child -10%
3rd Child -30%
4th Child -40%

To register a child for enrolment, the application fee must accompany the application form. This fee covers administration costs.  Any new families offered a place, on commencement will be required to pay the Establishment Fee plus one term’s fees upfront to confirm enrolment.  The Establishment fee is a once-off, per family fee that is non-refundable and is used for capital improvements. 

 

Fees paid in full annually by 31st January, will receive a further 5% discount.

 

School fees are raised in January of each year as annual invoices, with a statement issued week five of each term.  Families not able to pay in full their annual invoice have two payment options:

  1. Quarterly: Pay fees each term in full by the first Friday of each Term
  2. Fortnightly: Total amount paid in 24 equal instalments

 

Those families choosing option 2 will need to sign a payment arrangement in writing agreed with the Business Manager (email: businessmanager@yss.wa.edu.au or Ph: 08 9755 2230).

 

Payments can be made in cash, EFTPOS or by online bank transfer.  Accounts may be paid in person during office hours.

Please do not send fees in your child’s bag.

HOLDING OF PLACES

There will be no fee reduction offered for prolonged absences, approved or unapproved.

Places will not be held for more than one term if there is a waitlist in place. There will be no fee reduction offered for prolonged absences, approved or unapproved.

NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL

We request notice of withdrawal to be made in writing preferably one term in advance to allow for administrative processing.

Notice of withdrawal should be given in writing to the Office who will pass the information on to the Business Manager.

BUILDING FUND
The Yallingup Steiner School Building Fund is available to accept financial contributions from parents and friends to assist with the ongoing building program. Much has still to be done and the building fund is seen as an important element in the school’s development. All donations over $2 to this fund are tax deductible. Please contact the Business Manager at the school or email businessmanager@yss.wa.edu.au

BURSARY FUND

A Bursary Fund has been established for the benefit of providing temporary assistance to families who are unable to meet fee obligations.

Parents may apply for a bursary if they are experiencing financial hardship. Please apply through the Business Manager.

Parents and Friends

FUNDRAISING
The Parents & Friends Association is actively involved in fund raising for the school community. Fundraising may happen within each class for various projects. 

Transport

School Bus Services run a bus service for the Yallingup Steiner School which runs mornings and afternoons to and from Busselton, Dunsborough, Yallingup and Margaret River.  School Bus Services is a Public Transport Authority Service which is responsible for providing eligible rural students and students with special needs, free transport assistance to and from school on contracted ‘Orange’ school buses.

A bus timetable can be obtained from the school office.

Parents of students who drive their children to the school may be eligible for a conveyancing allowance if a contract school bus service is not available.  For more information please contact the school office or visit www.schoolbuses.wa.gov.au
