We are currently looking to fill the following positions:

  • Class Five Teacher 2026

Yallingup Steiner School (YSS) seeks the services of a dedicated Class Teacher.

YSS is located on Wadandi country, in the South-West of Western Australia, a biodiversity hotspot that offers an inspirational backdrop for educating students.

Our intent is to provide curriculum content to students that is supportive of their individual development, within the context of a rich social and cultural educational environment.

A collaborative mindset will be an essential quality required to work within our welcoming and committed team.

The successful applicant will work in partnership with the College of Teachers to deliver content based on the Australian Steiner Curriculum Framework. Ongoing professional development is well supported and expected.

The position is offered at 0.8 FTE.

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Relevant qualifications, experience and competence in Primary Education (1-6).
  • Steiner Education training and/or experience is highly valued.
  • A thorough understanding of the developmental stages and associated requirements of primary aged children.
  • Practical acknowledgement of social and cultural diversity in the educational context
  • An affinity for the arts, essential for optimal curriculum delivery in the Primary years.
  • A positive orientation to outdoor education activities and camps.
  • A collaborative mindset that seeks shared experience and responsibility.
